Lovie’s Fun Denver Studio Session
Hi there friends! If you’re reading this in the future, this post is being published during the crazy time period in which COVID-19 hijacked our lives and shut everything down. As I’m writing this, we are still in the early stages… most states just implemented the Stay-At-Home orders a week or two ago, and we still have weeks to go until those orders are “theoretically” lifted. While I don’t know what’s going to happen, I can only stay positive. Our little pet photography biz is on pause as we continue to adhere to all the Gov’t and CDC guidelines coming down the pipe. To say our hearts are broken not to be able to do what we love so much, is a vast understatement. But we realize everyone is in the same boat and some in much worse positions. First and foremost, we give our heartfelt gratitude to all of those on the front lines – first responders, healthcare providers, grocery store employees, restaurants who are providing delivery/take out, delivery persons, public transportation employees, the list goes on and on. They are saving our lives, and we can’t thank them enough. Please, for their, your, and all of our sakes, please stay home and do your part. I promise, there’s a light at the end of the tunnel. We just have to coast through these darker times.
In effort to brighten your day, even just a little, and put a smile on your face, I wanted to share our pet studio session with ADORABLE and LOVEABLE “Lovie” with you!
Lovie’s pawrents reached out to me to schedule a session in our Denver studio to celebrate and document him joining their family. Lovie is a Bully mix and had the BEST expressions and head tilts ever! Our time in the studio with him was so much fun. Lovie’s parents joined in on some of the photos, too, which made for some adorable family pics. As with most younger pups, Lovie had a lot of energy, but he was also very good at staying put for a few seconds to allow me to capture the shot. I totally fell in love with this handsome boy and am so happy he and his parents came in for this super fun and memorable session.
Here’s a little bit more about Lovie (in the words of his dad):
“Lovie came into our lives on Father’s Day. We fell in love with him as soon as we saw him in the shelter. Somehow this amazing pup had been brought to the same shelter TWICE! Lovie is just over two years old and was adopted out as a “Lab Mix,” though DNA testing told a different story (Bully mix). He is full of energy and love and absolutely lives up to his name. He is always excited to meet new people and grace them with lots and lots and lots of smooches! Lovie totally completes our family and we are thankful everyday that he found us.”
We’re so excited, because Lovie’s session was also recently published by the fabulous Toronto-based PAWSH Magazine, a wonderful online pet magazine that you should definitely check out. Click here to see Pawsh’s awesome post featuring Lovie’s session!

We wish Lovie and his fam all the very best for the future! I have no doubt they’ll share so much laughter and so many amazing memories together for years go come.
