Sweet Riley the Beagle | Wag Your Tail Photography

Hello dear friends!  Today, we are sooo excited to finally tell you about our awesome session with Riley, the Beagle! 🙂  For Riley’s session, we met on a beautiful, slightly overcast, spring day in a quaint little park in Chestnut Hill.   You might be thinking cloud coverage is bad.  Actually, we love it.  It helps create gorgeous even lighting that makes for beautiful photos.   While the surroundings were mostly lush green, we explored a little and found the prettiest white and pink flowers that served as a stunning backdrop for Riley’s photos.

Here’s a little bit about sweet Riley.  Riley was adopted four years ago from Greenmore Farm Animal Rescue when she was about 1.5 years old.   She had been found as a stray in Ohio and was then brought here to Pennsylvania.  If there is one thing we took away from this session, it’s this:  Riley is the apple of her momma’s eye, and her momma is the apple of Riley’s eye.   Riley’s session with us was a beautiful celebration of the incredible love and bond between these two. Riley just ADORES her.  Riley must be in the same room as her mom at almost all times (as most dog parents can relate, this has its ups and downs!  HA HA).  When they are sitting on the couch, Riley must have some part of her touching her mom at all times. I mean, is your heart melting right now or what?!?

Riley’s mom put it so beautifully when she said: “I truly don’t know what I would do without her. The best part of my day is coming home to her little face… she really is my little furry baby.”  This pair reminds me so much of me and Newton.  I am so happy we were able to do this session to capture their amazing bond at this very special time in their lives.   As they say, “When I needed a hand, I found your paw”. Another amazing story of rescue, which we love so much!  🙂

We wish Riley and her momma the very best for the future!!  I just know their bond will continue to grow stronger and stronger.  Below are some of our very favorite photos from this incredibly special session.  Hope you enjoy!  XOXO, WYTP
